Studying
vocabulary - The
best way to study vocabulary terms and definitions is A
LITTLE AT A TIME - what experts call the "Trickle
in Approach". Studies have shown that the most
efficient way to retain vocabulary is to study often
for brief amounts of time. You may be familiar with
many of these terms and acronyms already, but it is
important to learn the correct definitions. Start
learning these terms early. DO NOT leave vocabulary
till last - cramming will not help you retain this
information! • Check
off the terms as you learn them. • Highlight
significant words or acronyms. • Dedicate
yourself to studying for 15 minutes twice a day.
Follow this procedure with the PREP Glossary
and you can learn these 250+ terms within four
weeks.
